About QMUGS

The Quinte Macintosh Users Group Society is a group of about 40 Mac enthusiasts in the Quinte Region of Eastern Ontario. We meet every third Thursday of the month (except July, August and December) at The Pioneer Building of Loyalist College, Room P2. Our meetings are from 6:30 to 9:30pm. We usually have a guest speaker or club member do a presentation and we make time to do a 'Question and Answer' period so that problems may be resolved. The questions cover everything under the sun on how to maintain your Mac and get the most out of it. Our Membership includes: people who were given a Mac when a family member upgraded, and want to learn how to use it iMac users Programmers Graphic Designers and Illustrators in both print and internet people who enjoy doing video production gamers PhotoShop enthusiasts All in all, it's a pretty diverse group of people.
